Nicole and the Faren Honda Team have begun the next phase of the season with a block of racing in Northern America. The first race, the Chrono Gatineau served as a good warm up and Nicole finished in 15th place behind on-form Canadian Clara Hughes (Specialized Lululemon).
 In the GP Gatineau the Faren Honda Team raced well with Nicole’s team mate Rochelle Gilmore finishing second behind Ina Teutenberg (Specialized Lululemon) and Nicole finishing in 7th place.  Â
In the Exergy Tour (Idaho, USA) Nicole was in the action helping Rochelle Gilmore to 3rd place on Stage 1 and racing hard as she continued to build her racing form. Unfortunately on the final stage Nicole was involved in a crash after 200m and although Nicole was uninjured and able to continue, her Kuota carbon fibre frame was destroyed and Nicole had to pull out. Â The stages were won by Tara Whitten (Canada), Teresa Cliff-Ryan (Exerg7 2012), Amber Neben (Specialized Lululemon), Ina Teutenberg (Specialized Lululemon) and Evelyn Stevens (Specialized lululemon) who also won the race Overall.
